いよいよ日本分子生物学会年会の要旨登録期間の最終日。締切時刻が迫る中、受付のある建物前は提出に来た多くの人で混雑している。その隣の建物には、まだ要旨が完成せず慌てている人らもおり、その中には6月号の表紙で最も奥にいた女性の姿もある。今年の年会（MBSJ2023）の要旨登録締切は7月31日17時（日本時間）である。ぜひ早いうちに、余裕を持って提出していただきたい。
