Kinoshitaらは当誌第30巻6号において、コンデンシンが単独でDNAのループを形成しつつ、コンデンシン間の相互作用により染色体の軸の構造が安定化されることで、M期染色体形成が促進されるというモデルを提唱した（Kinoshita et al. (2025) Genes to Cells 30(6): e70065, DOI: 10.1111/gtc.70065）。この絵でも天女たちが、長い1本のDNAのような羽衣を、優美な手つきでループを作りながら、互いに手を取り合って巧みに捌いている。
