ニューロンの　雨中も続く　水迷路

モーリスの水迷路は行動神経科学における実験手法のひとつであり、実験動物に濁った水のプールを泳がせて、水中に隠れている逃避台を探し出す過程を記録することで、その動物の空間学習能力と記憶能力を評価する方法である。ここに描かれているのは、２人の女性研究者が、モーリスの水迷路を用いた実験で、マウス（複数型）の行動を記録している様子である。まるでニューロンを思わせる雨が降っており、記録役の女性が濡れないように、もう一人の女性が傘を差し掛けている。
