- MBSJ members can attend the MBSJ Annual Meeting and submit an abstract with reduced Registration fees than non-members.
- Registration fees of the annual meeting are different from MBSJ annual membership fees.
- Please note that the payment of both fees is required to submit an abstract for the annual meeting.
- In order to ensure that the mail is delivered to you without delay, please provide your mailing address in detail.
- MBSJ's fiscal year runs from October 1 till September 30 in the following year.
- Member will be automatically renewed unless notify us of the membership deletion.
- Annual membership fees will be charged regardless of whether or not you have participated in the annual meeting, so please contact the secretariat as soon as possible if you will leave from MBSJ.

What can MBSJ Member do?
MBSJ members can attend the MBSJ Annual Meeting and submit an abstract with reduced Registration fees than non-members.
Members of MBSJ can access the international journal “Genes to Cells” online freely.

Members of MBSJ can receive Bulletin (issued only in Japanese).
Members of MBSJ can log-in MBSJ Members’ Page:
- You can confirm and update registered information.
- You can set up which information opened or not-opened.
- You can check your payment record for past 3 years.
- You can change Password.
- You can search and browse other members’ information.
- You can access archive for presentation since 2015.

Next-Generation Education Membership
Next-Generation Education Membership is intended for elementary, junior high, and high school teachers or equivalent personnel. Teachers at technical colleges are also included.
Senior Membership
Regular Members who meet the following conditions will become Senior Members from the fiscal year following the acceptance of their application.
- Be 65 years of age or older at the time of application and have been a Regular Member for a cumulative period of 20 years or more.
- Not be employed in a full-time position at the time of application.
- Have paid all membership dues through the year of application.
