ルミクリンの働きで成熟する精子たち
Mouse sperm are immature immediately after production in the testis. Lumicrine factors (NELL2 and NICOL) secreted by the testis stimulate the differentiation of epididymal initial segment epithelial cells, and these epithelial cells are responsible for processing the ADAM3 protein on the sperm surface, resulting in sperm maturation. The boys with long hair in this drawing also have their hair cut at the barbershops at the approach to a bridge and go out into the world, crossing the bridge as mature men.
